The Lumineers - Darlene Lyrics

The Lumineers – Darlene Lyrics

I see you
Standing there
In your favorite dress
I like what you wear

Oh Darlene, oh Darlene

I give you my ring
In your shaking hands
You give me a sting
With your crazy plans

Oh Darlene, oh Darlene

[The Lumineers – Darlene Lyrics]

  • Larry says:

It’s quite possible that the “Lumineers” lyrics might’ve actually come from some type of extraterrestrial source, or God or something or someone else, who used Wesley’s brain to write these lyrics. May be God wanted to show some people where they went wrong. Some people have a tendency to make the wrong choices, which is screwing up God’s master plan, and he wants people to correct their mistakes by giving them a second chance and steering them in the right direction so that the entire system can get back in order and so they can have a better quality of life.

Perhaps, it all started with some guy looking for some girl, but spilled into something much grander.

I am sure people, who believe in God would agree with this.

I think Darlene just didn’t realize that you were so into her. Apparently, she didn’t have enough experience dating men, and therefore, failed to pick up on such clues and properly interpret your signals, particularly, since they are so subtle. In order to be able to see such subtlety, it would’ve required her to have dated a million men. I think the guy, who ordered these messages sung out like this, with the purpose of getting in touch with the girl, sees her a little too small. She is most likely the kind of girl that relies on evidence since such clues, in a complex mind, can be interpreted in so many different ways….And in order not to regret something like this, you can always say that things worked out, probably, in a better way, because there is no reason to believe that your relationship would’ve developed into something great.
