Seether- Broken (feat. Amy Lee) Lyrics
I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
‘Cause I’m broken when I’m lonesome
And I don’t feel right when you’re gone away
You’ve gone away, you don’t feel me, here anymore
The worst is over now and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
There’s so much left to learn, and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
[x2]
‘Cause I’m broken when I’m open
And I don’t feel like I am strong enough
‘Cause I’m broken when I’m lonesome
And I don’t feel right when you’re gone away
‘Cause I’m broken when I’m lonesome
And I don’t feel right when you’re gone away
You’ve gone away
You don’t feel me here anymore
[Seether- Broken (feat. Amy Lee) Lyrics]

John Seether knows full well the broken spirit from losing someone you care about in your life. I could never have had the genius of mind to have found the words to express quietly to a loved one or anyone else the pain of a broken heart and soul. My family lost our beautiful, gifted grandson on June 12, 2011 by the act of a low life cowardly animal. It has devastated my bride, daughter and our entire family for eternity. Our lives have been altered forever. The pain is unbearable, but I stumble through each day clinging to those I love still here in this horrible existence we call earth. Thank you Mr John Seether for the gift of a genius loving soul and mind. I listen to your song “Broken” everyday and will continue to till my fatefull departure from this terrible existence we call life. I pray my Lord comes everyday to deliver us from satan’s dominion on this planet.
