Paloma Faith Releases Official Music Video For “Picking Up The Pieces”

British singer Paloma Faith wants everyone’s attention when it comes to the brand new video for her latest single, “Picking Up The Pieces”. The song is the lead single off her sophomore album, “Fall to Grace” which is set for release on May 28th, 2012 through RCA Records. The newly released video tells us the story of a dysfunctional relationship between Paloma’s character and her beau.

The flawless singer takes on the role of a woman binded to a possessive boyfriend. Throughout the video, the pop singer turns in to a wax-like human, and she eventually melts up. Some say that this intriguing element symbolizes the meltdown of someone who’s being domestically abused, while others just call it extravagant and plain weird.

And if you thought that the “odd” factor stops at the melting Paloma, you were a bit off track… the new video for “Picking Up The Pieces” also shows us a pair of mysterious twin girls who show Paloma’s character the way to happiness. But wait, there’s more, if you’re patient enough, you will be taken to a weird dining hall in which you will get to see some mystical dances… all in all weird is all around!
