Lil Wayne Releases The Official Music video For The Bruno Mars Assisted “Mirror”

Extra, extra! Read all about it! Lil Wayne has unveiled the new video for his latest single “Mirror”, which features Bruno Mars on the chorus. To begin with, the new clip starts off with an intriguing display of Weezy’s tattoos (just in case you want to take a trip to your local tatoo parlor and get a look alike!) But the close-up eventually ends and we get to see a shirtless Lil Wayne who’s getting ready to fill an initially blank canvas with a cans of spray paint, and also the classical cans of oil colors.

The director of the clip, Antoine Fuqua, had a really good idea to mix the image of Lil’Wayne’s tattoo-covered body with the whole painting motif video. As we quickly advance into the video, the room in which the video is shot is covered in black and red as Weezy creates his “masterpiece” and croons his new rap-ballad. Bruno Mars also makes an appearance at the choruses, but he still manages to get into the whole “paint me red” mood as he sits on top of a red-paint-soaked ladder singing his part.

We really don’t want to spoil the ending for you in case you haven’t had a chance to see the clip, but we’ll just tell you this, Lil’ Wayne’s painting skills go from beginner to Da Vinci in just a matter of minutes. Ahh, the wonders of video technology. And at the end of the clip, Weezy’s masterpiece is truly impressive. Have a look below and find out what it is.
